Velocity College is an independent college that offers short, practical courses via any Android based cell phone. Students can be located anywhere and attend all courses via their mobile phones.
These short courses are designed to give students the practical knowledge they need to succeed in today’s marketplace. A typical course should take around three months to complete on a part time basis.
Students receive their academic content in various ways;
Ebooks (these are digital textbooks that are downloaded to the student's Android phone)
Access to a student’s calendar that gives daily guidance on what the student should be doing
Access to frequent assessments in all subjects (We believe in continuous assessment as and when students learn a topic. This mirrors the real world where you are constantly tested and have to deliver on what you know, unlike unrealistic, stressful exams at the end of a course.)
Access to audio lessons (here each lesson is also delivered in audio format)
Access to each lesson as a game that can be played! The curriculum includes one game for each lesson, on each day. We believe that learning should be fun and interactive and this makes learning with Velocity College the most exciting and fun curriculum to learn!
A certificate of completion will be awarded to each candidate that successfully passes any of the courses, with the minimum pass mark being 65%.
